Alternators

AlternatorAlternators are the electro mechanical devices used to charge the cars battery. Mounted at the front end of the engine, they are usually driven from the crankshaft by a drive belt. There are many different types – we service them all. An indication of a failing alternator can be the charge warning light on the instrument cluster staying on once the engine is running although an alternator can be faulty even if the charge warning light does go out once the engine starts.
